Not Looking For A Better Crook

When running for political office, it isn't enough to just be the better option than the other guy.  One needs to actually be good.

As I am already running for political office as an independent candidate, I probably don't have to tell you that I am dissatisfied with both main political parties.  As I am already running for the Legislature as an independent, that should probably go without saying.

You don't need me to tell you some litany of complaints about what is happening right now.  You probably know this at least as well as I do.

Whenever a candidate runs for political office, it becomes important to tell the people what one stands for.

Listening is important.  Listening is good.  Listening is not enough.

Taking a clear and unequivocal stand against corporate and PAC money in political campaigns is at least as important.

Yes, voters want something better.  And yet...

Voters are rarely interested in merely finding a better crook to vote for.

State legislators are important.  They vote on budgets for state government and make laws that all of us must obey.  State legislators must be honest and honorable.  Voters aren't looking for a better crook.

This flyer tells you what I stand for.
